it's a special day

today is mexikid's birthday.

it's been quite a year for the kid.

he moved to an even bougier area of dallas (even though he says his digs aren't as bougey).

he bought a car, a german one at that.

he has even made it to the lake more, despite the incredible attacks mounted by the spider armies.

and don't think he's old, he's still spry. only recently i watched him jump over his front seat and into the back with DF quicker than SWD can say "cock".

90210, sort of

last night was the premiere of the new 90210!

i watched about 45 minutes of it. i made a spur of the moment decision to head out after that. that decision had nothing to do with how much i was liking the show. dvr rules!

in the first 45 minutes i got:

* enough of the orginal theme in the new one to be happy.

* nat working at the peach pit

* kelly at the school ,and even her sister (pictured), i think i remember that she had a real young one. doubt its the same actress though

* hannah zuckerman-vazquez in the media class


so for what i did watch, so far so good!

i should finish watching it tonight.

stupid hurricane

last night on the way home from the lake both QT's were $3.27/gallon. that was at 11:00 at night.

this morning at 7:30 one was $3.39, the other was $3.45!
