last night was awesome!

people we were talking to heard the show would start at 8. when the band came out at 8:45 they were introduced as "the band that put the punk in punctual".

slash was awesome! we were so close i think i could actually hear his guitar, you know the sound from the guitar itsself and not the speakers (which is kind of ironic since i may not be able to ever hear again).

scott weiland is an incredible performer, never stopping always being entertaining. the man is definatley a nut.

they sounded awesome. they played STP (interstate love song, sex type thing, vasoline) and GNR (patience, it's so easy, mr brownstone) along with all the velvet revolver tunes i know. they even did a cover of pink floyd 'wish you were here'!

HOB was being a bunch of camera nazis, so i didn't get too many good pics. bastards
