you know, i've gotta live like i'm 23. this year i managed to stretch my birthday weekend into 5 days of fun.

i must say i have a good group of friends. i've managed to make friends that no matter what happens along the way, they always seem to be there, and are good sports about it. notably absent from any birthday activities were two friends from the last two years that i hope will be like all my others, and come back around.

we've gone over the first 3 nights already. so no need to rehash.

monday night - big birthday dinner! i'm not big on group things, but when this group gets together, it's always fun. Mexikid, Dirty Frank, Coolhand, and the Bougey Twins. Mi Cocina was awesome, as was Uptown Pub after. Thanks to all who were there, i had a blast.

tuesday night - Shinedown! this was prolly the show i was looking forward too, second most this summer. i was pretty sure i was gonna miss it and be sad (see comment about absent friends). i decided since it was general admission i would just try to get people to show up. Coolhand and his girlfriend were kind enough to oblige. Shinedown was awesome as was expected, and props to Deepfield too! to all the bastards who didn't go, you missed a rockin show! bitches.
