LA Guns in a tiny venue
last night i went with filthy franklin to the cambridge room at house of blues to see la guns.
that room is small! prolly 50-60 feet square maybe?
two local bands opened for them. they were loud and semi ok.
la guns rocked. they really didn't play anything i knew though, except for ballad of jayne. i mean i recognized some songs, but the only album of theirs that i really was ever into was hollywood vampires, and i don't think they played any songs off of that.
filthy and i both had a concert first last night though. a kumbayah moment. the singer told everybody (all of the maybe 100 people) to take a step back and sit down on the floor. he then jumped the barricade and sat down on the floor too and sang ballad of jayne.
all and all, it was loud, la guns rocked it, so it was good fun.
