my heater was broken last night! at least it wasn't super cold, in fact with a few extra blankets i slept like a baby. getting up this morning was a different story.

You should have done what the Mexicans do... use your oven as a heater.
If you have a gas oven, don't do this.

Hay I did that when I lived in Michigan and it worked like a charm. You can also heat the bathroom up with a hair dryer if you are desperate enough!!
