lemony fresh tires?

from www.autoindustry.co.uk
The Japanese tyre maker Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. says it is using technology to make better tyres for consumers and the environment. It has developed a process that combines citrus oil with natural rubber to form a new compound called 'Super Nanopower Rubber (SNR)' which reduces the use of petroleum products in tyres by 80%.
The first SNR product is the 'Decibel Super E-Spec', which features an air permeation suppression polymer inner lining to help maintain appropriate inflation levels.
The E-Spec is also claimed to be a lot lighter than other tyres and to reduce rolling resistance by 18%. The E-Spec tire featuring the SNR compound will be available in Japan later this year.
