sunday morning we got up early to go barefooting at our favorite spot.
it's almost an hour and half drive there. this is what we arrived to see.
the next lake upstream had it's floodgates open. the water was probably almost 3 feet higher than normal, full of floating trees, and flowing super fast.
all we could do was turn around and go home.
i'd like to personally thank whoever controls those flood gates for the wonderful birthday present.
