please don't disappoint me
As reported by UP, 97.1-FM returned to a hard-rock format, as of Tuesday morning.
"We did launch the Eagle at 10 a.m. this morning," says Clear Channel market manager J.D. Freeman. "The Eagle left the airwaves on May 18, 2004, and now we have returned to the rock format.
"It's on, it's going, it's rock. We're playing Ozzy, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Metallica. We're calling it a "heritage" rock station -- not classic rock. It's gonna be some new and old, but primarily rock and roll."
d/fw needs a real hard rock station!
what's this heritage rock?

I'm *hoping* it means they play what they used to play, because it specifies they are NOT "classic" rock, but "heritage" rock..."classic" is a defined range of songs (older than 15yrs), so maybe this is their way around it?
And seriously, I didn't think they had gone off the air THAT long ago...off since 2004! Agh!
